Meet Nick & Annelise
It started in the summer of 2022 — hundreds of plants in our front yard, our greenhouse, and honestly every corner of our house. By that October, with winter coming and plants outgrowing every shelf we owned, we spotted a “For Rent” sign next to our favorite burger spot in Boardman. We knew right away.
Two months of sanding, staining, and building later, The Plant Bar opened its doors on December 15, 2022. Today folks know us as the plant doctors — and we're still amazed at how quickly this community wrapped its arms around our little shop.
What We Do
Pull up a stool. Whatever your plant needs, we've got a service for it — and probably a story to go with it.

From the Neighborhood
I came in with a half-dead pothos in a coffee mug and left with a real pot, fresh soil, and an explanation of why my watering schedule was killing it. A week later it's thriving.
I ordered 40 mini succulent favors for my sister's bridal shower. They were stunning, healthy, and packaged so carefully. Every guest took theirs home. Worth every penny.
I'm the worst at keeping plants alive. Brought in my crispy fiddle leaf expecting a funeral. They diagnosed root rot, repotted it with care, and walked me through a recovery plan. It has new leaves now.
